The PhaZZer Enforcer will also deploy all other forms of PhaZZer Ammunition cartridges and is compatible with the TASER Ammunition in use and function. Both the TASER Ammunition and the PhaZZer Ammunition will function in either weapon as they have been tested as functionally compatible.
The PhaZZer has been tested for safety, effectiveness and will substantially reduce the likelihood of serious harm or death if used as directed when compared to alternative methods of force. It is one of most effective alternatives to the use of more substantial force when it is unnecessary. The PhaZZer Enforcer includes a 7.2 volt, rechargeable, ion-lithium battery pack coupled with an AC Adaptor Recharging System that can be plugged into the wall when the charge is low. The unit also includes a 21’ Training Cartridge, 15’ Dart Pro and 8’ pepper ball cartridge, nylon belt loop holster and international plug at initial purchase.
Dart Spread
The PhaZZer cartridge has a probe deployment angle of 6 Degrees, 3 degrees above and a 3 degrees below the red laser. This 6-degree total-spread is a bit narrower than the 8-degree spread of the TASER-brand cartridges. Analysis shows that a narrower spread increases accuracy in dynamic situations, especially at extended range.
TASER X26 probes spread out to about 24 inches at 14 ft/5m. In comparison, the PhaZZer Enforcer probes spread out to about 19 inches at 14 ft/5m. There are Pros and Cons to how wide apart the darts spread. Too narrow and the neuromuscular effects are lessened. Too wide and one of the darts could either miss the target or strike an unintended area. We believe that statistically the hit-probability with PhaZZer is higher due to narrower dart dispersion at mid-ranges typically deployed.
The PhaZZer brand of cartridges does not have anti-felon identification tags (AFID). If an agency requires the use of cartridges with AFID encoding confetti, the TASER AFID cartridges can easily be used if that is an issue.
Both PhaZZer and TASER cartridges load and unload exactly the same way. Both cartridges have Drive-Stun features built in. They are located in slightly different locations - however the perpetrator will never know the difference!
